I'm just reading over my conversation with Dolly, trying to get a better sense of where her head's at. One line in particular stuck out to me:
Dolly Neely
Look. I feel like you/ed/alina are too big a thing, and then ed/alex were close, then PG and Yul who I screwed twice, then me and Silas just sitting here waiting. I would have felt way better about what you've said if Alex hadn't been so shady after being left out of the vote last round
Something is odd
Ugh, I'm starting to think it wasn't the smartest idea recruiting Silas AND her for the blindside. She's perceptive, and me acting like this might put me on her radar. I also feel like I'm overplaying, but I don't know entirely why. Like, I feel like I'm transparently going for her vote here, all while saying I have her back - it just feels kinda disingenuous, y'know? It's like, I feel like I made the right move handing out the olive branch, but I also feel like I worded it wrong when talking to her.
I just have a gut feeling in my stomach that's she's playing me or something. I'm just not convinced by what she told me, she has an odd way of phrasing things, that I find tricky to work with. Like, she doesn't directly address what I say, but instead makes a broader point, or some general comment.

FINAL 7
Welp, for the first time...ever (?) in this game I'm in the minority position. BUT I BEAT EIGHTH, AND THAT'S A VICTORY TO ME!

I really don't have a ton to say this round. For once in quite some time, I'm not in a place where I have much sway on who goes. So..........looks like it's time to talk shop with people, haha.
I've been trying to get a hold of Dolly, since she said she was looking for a solid four before when I talked to her before the rock draw, but it's pretty stupid of her to flp to a solid three at Final 7. Better to eliminate two of us, and have her/Silas use whoever's left to take out the PG/Yul duo. But hey, pre-preemptive strikes have been the theme of this season so far - no one expects her to flip after forcing a rock draw, and she does wanna be a "villain," so who knows. When your game relies on the whims of a fickle sheep connoisseur, it means you must've fucked up somewhere along the way. If she gets on, I'll talk to her, but I'm not hopeful.
Ed's gonna work on flipping PG to vote with us, but she told me in no uncertain terms she wasn't flipping this round. If he succeeds, great for him - I don't see it happening, at any rate. He's trying to get Silas out, but I figure Dolly's our best bet at flipping, and I don't think she'd be down to get rid of him. She seemed to want to get PG/Yul out, since she's been getting close with them. Who knows, though?
While I'm talking about Ed, may as well segue into the whole "Alina giving me immunity" thing. Alina told me before the challenge that, if she won, she'd give me immunity. Evidently, she did not tell Ed this, and when she won the challenge and told him what she was doing, he was very much against it. He's saying she earned it, and to an extent I agree with that, but Alina's talked frequently about how she's much less invested in this game than me or Ed - granted this isn't her quitting or anything, and I'm fighting for her to stay over Ed if it has to be one of them. Anyway, I don't entirely buy Ed's reasoning - I think he's probably been planting seeds against me since he's close with Alina, and me being immune is worst case scenario between the three of us, since it's either him or his #1. Granted, I'm sure he cares about her too, and wants to see her succeed - Ed isn't an awful guy or anything. Just OTTN, haha.
Alina's awesome, and I seriously adore her for giving me the immunity necklace. I have no idea if it was me or Ed going - I think soem think they can use me, and others want to prevent them from doing exactly that, so it was a definite toss-up in my mind. This is partly a game move on her part, but more than anything I think it speaks to our friendship. She's willing to put herself on the block to increase the odds we both stay - and that means a lot to me. I'm fighting for her to stay this round - I can only hope I can make the difference.

So, in an attempt to keep Alina over Ed, and because I'm INCREDIBLY easily amused, I decided to mess with PG's head a bit, to maybe make her think we have an idol. Worked on the exact wording with Alina, who's always down for a good idol troll, and here's the result: (Formatted for your pleasure) Me: so whatcha up to tonight? PG: uh scrambling eating sleeping (y) you? Me: lol, scrambling you dont need to granted I don't either now but still #logic PG : LOL i mean i don't but i will cuz i do Me: lol u nerd im the same way tbh PG : if im like ever not paranoid that's the round im going home MOMENT OF TRUTH Me: idk I think PG would be a better use for it
PG
what austin? (I take a stroll around the house for three minutz after I say it, chuckling like an idiot to myself)Me: sorry was in the bathroom it was a discussion about photochopping cat gifs you very feline esque wrong convo lol I'm smart PG : ah yes so smart Me: Now I wanna listen to eye of the tiger lol PG ::-) 5 mins ago Me: after the other day smiles scare me pg lol PG : lol so what you were gonna photochop me onto a cat? Me: For the confeshy, yeah I do like, little skits PG : ooo can i see? 4 mins ago Me: Um, I'd prefer not to share my confessional tbh PG : at least the photo? =-O Me: I haven't made it yet lol I was discussing it PG : LOL with who? Me: lol Alina she's creative af 2 mins ago PG haha i nkowww *knowwwEverything timed as best as I could, midway through the conversation, at a pont to maximize paranoia, pause for apparent panicking, awful excuse that is hard to prove. Alina then sent me this, after that last line: Alina Wilson : ok thats good
just now
PG : austin is apparently
photochopping me
onto a cat?
Alina Wilson : LOL
omg
i dont know why he thinks its so funny tbh
but its like
ok?
just now
PG : loool
sounds funnyI feel rther devious, but hey: I have immunity, I'm in the minority, what's the worst that could happen? I had some fun with it, at any rate, haha.

So, I've been chatting on off with Dolly all day. She wants to keep me around this round, so she kept talking about one of us getting immunity. Since she has a TC pass (THANK YOU AUCTION GODS FOR HELPING ME ONE GODDAMN TIME <3) she can give away immunity and still be safe. So, even though we ended up having puzzles - and seriously Jeremy, bingo? - I knew that, even if I was out, Dolly could carry the day for me. Which she did.
And she gave me the immunity.
SUCCESS! I have now somehow, someway, bumblefucked my way into convincing people to give me immunity two separate times. Now I'm in the F5, I should have Dolly on my side there, and maybe Silas - but if I can save Ed, I should have a solid three (or as solid as someone like Dolly or Silas can be) moving forward. Which means, operation break up Yul/PG is a go. If I want to succeed, they need to be G-O-N-E. Which sucks, cause they're awesome folks, but I know that if I wasn't immune, they would (and have) written my name down.
I'm not in a great spot, but I have some breathing room. Now I just need to wiggle like an earthworm to the top, and hope theirs no early birds there to lop my head off for a tasty lunch. A worm a day keeps the doctor away, ne?
That metaphor, um, might've gotten away from me a little bit.
Anyway, #neverstopscrambling is still in effect, and I haven't stopped working over PG and Yul and Silas and Dolly to make something happen. Maybe its overbearing, but I try to keep it mostly tongue in cheek so its not atrocious, and its not something I constantly talk about. Haven't forgetten the social game quite yet, haha. Just want to keep them informed that I am still thinking and willing to work with them, and that I'm always a number - which could bit me in the ass, but its worked in other games so...*shrug* I'm kinda rambling, since there's not a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge amount of stuff to talk about, so gonna end the confessional n-

Ed is telling me just vote for Silas, don't try and pull a power move against PG/Yul this round. He said he trusts PG/Yul to vote Silas over him. Um, OK I guess? PG has apparently been spreading that I mentioned to Dolly that PG was considering a vote for Silas, which Dolly apparently told her - by the way as much as I'm thankful for her saving my ass this round, her gameplay is seriously putting me off. I'm starting to think Ed might have cut a deal with those two to cut me and go to the F3 or something with them - which would be suicide if thats the case, but never underestimate a desperate man.
I don't know if Silas is going home tonight. Part of me wants to trust Ed's abilities, but PG was giving me a bunch of one word responses on top of general game talk. "Right" "Right" "Right" "OK" was literally her input, before I waited and she typed some more, FOUR times in a row when discussing the vote. Like, if Silas actually does go tonight, fantastic. But I feel like Ed is setting himself up for a blindside, and I'm not sure if I want to vote Silas and alienate him at F5, if Ed is actually the one going. If Silas IS the one going though, and I'm being hyper-paranoid and throw my vote somewhere else, then Ed/Yul/PG might actually become a thing. Ugh, this is hard. I think I'm gonna go with my instincts on this one, but who knows?

Silas is confusing me at the moment. Apparently he thinks he's a goat, doesn't want to lose in the end, so he wants to be on the ury? AND he doesn't want to betray PG or Yul? This...this thinking confuses me so much, and if he's seriously going to play for a PG or Yul win, as opposed to giving himself a shot by making a F3 of me/him/Dolly...I don't even know. It's frustrating.
Looks like Ed's most likely going. Have no idea if I'm gonna throw my vote or go with Ed and vote Silas. *shrugs* We'll see.

FINAL 5
Silas going was surprising. I kinda have like, a Sean Kenniff feeling - I voted correctly and with the majority, but I'm not entirely sure HOW that happened.

I'm sorry I don't ave a ton of stuff to talk about. When there's less people around, there's less options, so its like - I basically have to determine if A. Yul/PG will vote Dolly, B. If Dolly is solid with me/Ed and C. if both are true, who do I pick? I mean, the golden scenario is take out one of Yul/Pg, then flip and vote out Dolly next round. But she's also great at some of these immunities, so who fucking knows?
I'm debating whipping out that fake idol and pulling an Alex from Japan. The thing is, everyone knows I'm, well, a schemer. Alex is an honest guy, so his word on publicly revealing that kind of stuff and it being bought is better. So yeah, will probably err on the side of caution, since I really don't know if PG/Yul are actually voting me this round. For ll I know, Ed has a deal with them for F3 or something.

PG/Yul are voting me, despite my campaigning to PG. So, it all comes down to the sherpardess - did she vote me, or did she vote PG? I feel kinda like I'm going, but who knows.
